We took to the skies at this year’s MCM Comic Con at ExCeL London, with a bespoke airship for Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
We were asked by Experience 12 and SQUARE ENIX to make and fly a customised airship with maximum impact… it quickly became the talking point of the show featuring intricate graphics and a design that had people looking up with their cameras, and posting to social media!
With 165,000 attendees over three days, the airship proved a real showstopper, attracting huge attention and an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors.
Our unique permissions and insurance allow us to fly over crowded venues which also enables us to capture unprecedented aerial footage from the onboard camera system. We were able to film some lovely interactions with people as it floated gracefully overhead.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to life, from the initial planning and coordination through to the fantastic energy and delivery across the show days. It was a real team effort and a great example of what can happen when creative vision is combined with the latest technology, and a lot of passion for doing something different.
