AWS Summit London 2026 – Aerial Branding That Stopped People in Their Tracks
The Opportunity
In May 2026, Amazon Web Services hosted its annual AWS Summit at London's ExCeL, bringing together thousands of technology professionals, innovators, developers and business leaders for one of the UK's largest cloud computing events.
With such a vast exhibition space and a highly competitive exhibitor environment, AWS wanted a feature that would not only stand out visually but also become a talking point throughout the event.
Our brief was to create something unforgettable.
The Concept
Working closely with the event team, we designed and operated a stunning custom-printed helium airship that transformed the venue skyline. Rather than a traditional branded balloon, the airship featured an intricate, visually striking design that resembled a floating piece of art.
The result was a breathtaking aerial installation that combined creativity, engineering and branding into one seamless activation.
Suspended high above the exhibition floor, the airship became impossible to ignore. Its unique appearance attracted attention from every corner of the hall and provided attendees with a clear visual landmark as they navigated the event.
Bringing the Vision to Life
Designed specifically for indoor operation, the airship was carefully engineered to deliver smooth, stable flight within the busy exhibition environment. Throughout the event, it floated gracefully above the crowds, creating a dynamic presence that continuously drew eyes upwards.
The scale of the ExCeL venue made the activation particularly effective, allowing the airship to be seen from considerable distances while maintaining its impressive visual impact.
